Traceability is the ability to track beef everywhere it goes while being produced, processed and delivered to a consumer. That means at any point in the process we can know where it’s been and who’s taking care of it. Traceability must happen for a rancher that raises beef right, is proud of it, and stands behind what she or he produces to be able to place their brand on every steak. It’s not easy…. but it’s worth it for you and the rancher who took great care to produce it for you.
